Home-based Super Eag- les coach Okey Emordi is confident his side will come out victorious when they file out against Burkina Fa-so in Sunday’s African Nations Championship qualifying clash slated for Calabar.

Emordi has endured a frus-trating experience following the inability of the invited players to assemble in good time but the former Enyimba coach believes he has got a lot of experienced players who can grind out a result for him in the encounter.

"I have players in the team who can crack a few hard nuts and still keep going strong. They’ve got experience and ability and will help us very much", said Emordi.

The team is staying at the Pyramids Hotel in Calabar ahead of the cracker at the U. J. Esuene Stadium.

Heartland FC’s Mutiu Ade-goke, Goalkeepers John Gaadi (Gombe United) and Olufemi Thomas (Nassarawa Utd), Ocean Boys’ Blessing Okardi, Kaduna United’s Efe Ambrose, Chibuzor Okonkwo of Bayelsa United, Timothy Anjembe of Lo-bi Stars, Yinka Adedeji of 3SC and Enyimba duo Okechukwu Odita and Chidozie Johnson have garnered huge exposure in African club competitions over the years.

Adegoke, the team’s skip-per, was in the Enyimba team that won the CAF Champions League in 2004 and played professionally in Cote d’Ivoire before returning home last year.

Chinedu Effugh, Obinna Nwokolo, Mohamed Baleria, Bello Kofarmata, Nura Moha-med, and Tukura Michael also have ample experience of the hard game.
