The newly elected Senator representing the FCT, Abuja, at the upper legislative chamber, Senator Sidi Ali, has expres-sed appreciation to resi-dents of the capital city for their overwhelming support during the re-run senatorial election.

A member of the Senator Ali Campaign Organization, Dr. Al-Mustapha Medanar Ussiju, conveyed the Senator’s appreciation in a chat with our correspon-dent at the weekend in Abuja.

According to him, the massive support given to the Senator at the poll is a reflection of the confidence that FCT residents have in Senator Ali. In reciprocation, the Senator will work in the best interest of all and sundry in the FCT, he said.

Dr. Ussiju assured that the Senator will carry everybody along in the best interest of the territory, irrespective of party affiliations. "This is an era of positive change," he said.
