Three primary health centers have been earmarked in Gombe Local Government Council to compliment the state government’s effort to provide health facilities.
The chairman of the council, Alhaji Dasuki Jalo Waziri made the proposal known while inaugurating council members subsequent to last month’s local government council poll. He said the facilities would be located in three different wards within the council including Kagarawal, London-Maidorowa and Gabukka. Dasuki, who is in his second term of three years said the projects began by his council during his first term would not be abandoned but pursued simultaneously with the newly conceived ones. Explaining the on- going N1 billion skills acquisition center, the chairman opined that if completed the center would cater for school drop- outs and women in purdah who constituted the greater bulk of the unemployed sector in the council.
