Omatek 8’ Classic has emerged best computer of the year at this year’s Titans of Technology Awards held in Lagos recently, the company has said.

In what the organizers called a due diligent process, the Omatek 8’’ beat Products from other brands to emerge as the best product of the year.

In spite of it’s very small size, The Omatek 8" which is rugged, slim and compact is wi-fi compliant and is indeed the pride of all students not only in Nigeria but in other parts of Africa where demand is high.

Omatek Computers Limited, manufacturers of the notebooks is the second Company in the world to launch the notebook globally after Sony Corporation and the Only Company in Africa to produce the small notebooks.

Receiving the award on behalf of the company, Chief Marketing Officer of the Company, Biyi Fashoyin dedicated the Award to Nigerian students and the vision of Mrs Florence Seriki.

Receiving the award in her Office, Mrs Seriki thanked the organizers of the awards and promised to continue to Identify with students and youths in their quest to bridge the digital divide.
