The Secretary General Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, (NSCIA), Dr. Lateef Adegbite has described Daily Trust in the last ten years as a remarkable performance. He said:

"It (Trust) has taken a leading position in the print media, the newspaper is known for its authoritative news reporting and a very reliable paper to get information.

"The paper has something for everybody with its informative and educative features. Its editorial opinion is very cogent and competitive".
